Here is the "Harvest Moon" for 2012. This is a shot looking up from my back deck, September 29, around 10:00 p.m. in Bristol, Va.-Tn. For the most part this was a cloudy evening, but God was good and gave me a break in the clouds long enough to catch a few good shots. 

   And since we're shootin' the moon, below is a shot of the "Blue Moon" taken on August 31, 2012. A blue moon is defined as the second full moon within any month of the calendar year. And just for the record.....the blue in this photo is photo shopped. In reality, it looks exactly like the "Harvest Moon" picture above, but these really are two different pictures, taken 29 days apart.
